How It Started
Back in 2007, I tried growing a tomato plant on my balcony patio. I realized the sun couldn't get to my tomatoes so I thought it would be a good idea to prune the leaves, but I went a little too far and only kept a couple leaves on the plant. My husband was shocked when he got home and said, "Do you not know how photosynthesis works?" (He said this with love ;) And yeah, I forgot about that... lots of mistakes and learning has brought me to where I am today - my love for gardening and growing my own healthy, super nutritious food.
DIY - Trug a.k.a. "Elevated Raised bed"
I’m standing in front of a raised garden bed that I built in 2018 with my own two hands (and a circular saw and drill) and some scrap wood from around our yard. I was pretty darn proud of it!
